You can navigate the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia web site using either Netscape Communicator (4.4 and later versions) or Internet Explorer (IE) (4.0 and later versions).

Using the Site Map gives you a visual bird's eye view of the site and provides for greater ease of navigation.Dynamic Drop-down menus have also been implemented to facilitate navigation.

This feature allows you to examine the depth of the information hierarchy for a particular menu selection from any page on the web site.You can go to any available option in the site by merely moving your mouse over menu items and following the sub-menus as they unfold.

Q. What do I need to know about downloading PDF files?

If you already have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed in your browser, those Commission documents which are made available in Portable Document Format (PDF) will download automatically. Please note that some of these documents are large and will take some time to download. You are advised to have a fast connection and/or plenty of patience, and, of course, adequate disk space to store and print these files.

Q. What do I need to know about on-line Forms?

Some of the forms can be filled out and submitted on-line. Examples are the customer satisfaction survey forms for the utility complaints and outreach activities, a number of payphone complaint and application forms, and requests for formal hearings.

Q. What kind of database information is available on-line?

The large databases can be sorted by various categories to help find the desired information. Examples are the docket sheets, list of orders, list of Approved Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs), list of interconnection agreements, lists of resolved payphone complaints and pending payphone complaints; lists of resolved payphone oppositions and pending oppositions; and lists of approved indoor and outdoor payphone applications.
